School Lunches FAQ

When is the order deadline?
Online orders may be placed up until 6:00 am the day of the lunch to be served.

Where do I mail my check for payment?
Please mail order payments to: Blue Plate, 7347 35th Ave NE, #E  Seattle, WA 98115.

Allergy Concerns
We do not use any type of nut products in our food or kitchen. If you have specific questions regarding other allergies email us by clicking on “contact us” and we can look at specific ingredients for you.

How much do lunches cost?
Most lunches will cost between $5.50 and $6.50 and always include a fresh vegetable and fruit. Ordering can be done two ways, online at www.blueplateseattle.com or by phone at 206-525-2511. We accept credit cards and checks as payment.

How can I print a menu?
Your school’s menu will be posted to your schools page around the 15th of the month for the following month. We keep the current and future month’s menus on the site. To find your school’s page go to the Order Lunches menu, Schools, then select your school.

How do I cancel or change a lunch?You can change or cancel a lunch online until 6:00 am the day of the lunch. A credit for the lunch will appear in your child’s account.
If you need to cancel or change a lunch after 6:00 am the day of the lunch, please email or phone us 9:00 am that day. Please allow up to one week for a credit to appear on your child’s account.

Who do I contact for ordering issues?
Blue Plate partners with Boonli to provide a secure, fast, and easy-to-use online ordering system that allows parents to view their lunch menu, order, purchases and manage student lunches on the web. If you have trouble placing an order online, please email support@orderlunches.com.

We use compostable plates, utensils and sauce containers to serve our lunches.
